Inspired by the World's Largest School Meal Program

Inspired by Akshaya Patra—the world's largest school meal program serving 2.25 million meals daily in India—World Food Movement Dallas brings this mission to underserved children and communities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Srila Prabhupada, the Founder-Acharya of the Worldwide Hare Krishna Movement, desired that no one should go hungry. In pursuance of his noble directive, we work tirelessly to provide easy accessibility to freshly cooked, wholesome meals to children and communities in need.

Our Dallas chapter was established to address the growing issue of food insecurity, where 1 in 6 children in America face hunger. We focus on serving communities where support is needed the most.

Our Mission

To provide nutritious, freshly prepared vegetarian meals to children and communities in need across Dallas-Fort Worth, promoting healthier bodies and minds so they can thrive without the burden of hunger.

Our Vision

No one should go hungry. We envision a future where every child and community in Dallas has access to nutritious food, enabling them to thrive and build brighter futures without worrying about their next meal.
